Happy Halloween everyone!

Do you do anything special for Halloween? Since my kids are grown up now I don't do much but I used to make their costumes (and mine!) and it was a big event! Now I just hand out candy with my neighbor. We sit out near the sidewalk on lawn chairs, drink a little wine, and make a fuss over the few children in our neighborhood that come by! My grandson has a fascination with the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf and he will be the wolf this year! It's still early in the day so I haven't seen him in costume yet but I'll slip a photo in here later 😊

I asked him what he would do now that he was a big bad wolf and he says he's going to huff and eat piggies lol.

I have one last Thanksgiving card to share before I start videoing Christmas cards. I show how to make the tumbled leaves background and this is a great card for sending off thru the mail.

Getting ready for Christmas!

I know, I know, it's not even Halloween yet but I have to get my thoughts turned into cards waaaaay ahead of time! I need time to get the videos made up and y'all need time to order supplies if you see something you just HAVE to have to make your cards! So I spent the day looking at the stamps, dies and papers I want to use for my cards. I gathered up all my Whisper White cardstock scraps and stamped a WHOLE BUNCHA poinsettias, pine branches, pine cones and what looks like pink glittery worms in the picture but is actually garland from Heartfelt Creations Merry and Bright Accents! Doing the garland is rather labor intensive but it looks SOOOOO good I think it might be worth the effort. I used up my Berry Burst scraps for those, stamped them in Tuxedo Black and then dotted on each bead with Nuvo Glitter Drops in Ruby Slipper. Gorgeous! I found out I can easily dot about 10 during the commercials while watching a TV show lol.

What a mess, huh? And that's not nearly all of it! My supplies spilled out into the living room so I could easily look at all of it at once! I want to have some super special cards for the super special people and also some that will go together easily for mass producing!

Now, time to get to work!
    Take care ya'll!

Here's card number two for Thanksgiving 2018!

I'm demo'ing how to make a lovely pumpkin and vine with flowers today. It's very easy to make this card and even tho it has some dimension to it, it should travel thru the mail just fine!  I used a cute little punch for the flowers from EK Success.
It come as a pack with two flower variations and you can find it here on Amazon.com!

Hi Y'all! Happy Wednesday!

Time to start on Thanksgiving Day cards! I'm starting off with one with lots of flowers and autumn leaves! Also loads of dimension on this card!

There are a couple of cutting dies I used on this card that are great all round, use them anytime dies! One is the Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangles set, the other is the berry branches which are perfect little filler bits for flower groupings. I found that one on Amazon.com but the exact ones I have aren't available anymore. 😡  If you see one, get it, it looks so nice tucked in with the flowers! The Hemstitch Rectangles can be found here as well as many other places, I'm sure!

So , back to the card! Here it is!

Whoo Hoo! It's Wednesday again!

I'm hoping the weather is good for the trick-or-treaters this year. It's still hot here at the moment but at least it's toned down to hot instead of the "Oh my gosh! It's HOT" weather we had been having! This card has a secret surprise on the inside that I'll share ahead of time with all of you, my blogger buddies! Meet George McBones lol. I couldn't help myself, I had to give him a silly name!

I made him from a free coloring page that I found online! It's on this page, just scroll down, he's there! I did a copy image, pasted it into a word file, resized it and printed it out!

Here's the card........ minus George!
