Blog Exclusive! Easter Egg Stands

Getting ready to dye your Easter eggs? How about making some cute little stands to display your prettier eggs? These go together so fast you won't believe it!

Get out those lacy border dies you have stashed away. I know you have some. Cut them out with Whisper White cardstock or whatever color you might like your lacy bits!

Next look thru your scraps. I always end up with strips of paper that I've trimmed off. You'll need a 5 1/2" length and whatever height you want your holders. I made mine 1-1 1/2" tall. The width of your lacy dies will effect how tall you want yours.

Now, glue your lacy borders to your strips. If your lacy bits aren't 5 1/2" long, start one end lined up with the end edge of the colored cardstock strips as I show in the picture below.

Give them a moment for the glue to dry, then wrap them around something cylindrical (such as a glue bottle) to start to shape them. Add glue to the last 1/2" of the strip on the end that does NOT have your lacy die cut bit. For example, I would put my glue on the left hand side of the strips in the picture.

Overlap the opposite side, hold for a bit until the glue sets and VOILA! You're done!  Now all I need to do is hardboil and dye my eggs! 😄

I hope y'all have a wonderful Easter!
